How to Meditate 7

Spiritual Mantras
Experiment saying the mantra, “I share God’s presence.” Repeat this for fifty times or a few minutes out loud until it naturally fades out and there are no thoughts.
Notice the quietness, peace, and love. As you say, “I share God’s presence,” pay attention to sensing your body, feel God’s presence in every cell of your body.
Notice feeling emotions of love, happiness, joy, peace or perhaps sadness, anger or fear may release. When your mind starts to think of unrelated worries or thoughts, refocus by repeating the same mantra or saying a new mantra like, “I feel God’s love.”
If you don’t feel anything after five or ten minutes say, “I am opening my heart to feeling God’s love or presence,” This allows you to be more open to feeling.
Doing this meditation for an hour or less, you will usually feel enormous love and peace. The longer you meditate, the longer the spaces get between the mantras. Often the mantras create a harmonious  alignment with the universe and you will eventually feel and see light waves or become lit up during the spaces.  These mantra meditations are powerful. An hour mantra meditation can achieve results of ten day awareness meditation.  Enjoy.
